Aimersoft DVD Ripper is an application that can convert DVD, ISO and IFO files to several media formats, including AVI, MP3, MKV, MOV, WAV and WMA.
The interface of the program is user-friendly and intuitive. You can import videos by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" function is not supported.
In the list you can check out the source, trimmed length, estimated size, destination file and output profile of each video.
In order to proceed with the encoding process, you can specify the output profile and destination.
But you can also select the subtitle and audio stream, view all chapters to select them individually for conversion, preview the clip to take snapshots, as well as split the video and trim it by marking the start and end point.
Furthermore, you can crop the clip, adjust image settings (e.g. brightness, contrast, saturation), apply effects (e.g. gray, emboss, negative film) and add watermarks (image or text).
On top of that, you can configure audio and video options for each format preset, such as resolution, encoder, frame rate, bit rate, sample frequency rate and channel. Settings can be restored to their default values at any time.
The program takes up a moderate-to-high amount of system resources, supports multiple languages for the interface and lets you select the CPU core number. Aimersoft DVD Ripper delivers a very good image and sound quality in the output files.
On the other hand, the converter takes a very long while to complete a task (usually longer than the video itself). Even so, we strongly recommend Aimersoft DVD Ripper to all users.
