CD Key Reader 1.1

CD Key Reader is a simple utility to read registration keycodes from the registry.

This program scans the registry for encoded CD registration keys. Keys that are found are decoded and displayed together with the registry path.

Occasionally, you may wish to know what CD key was used to install an application. Provided this data is stored somewhere, it can be retrieved. This utility is designed to find and display this data.

Currently, only keys for modern Microsoft applications can be retrieved but this may be extended in the future.

Older software and software released after this program was written may not be identified correctly.
This is a small and simple utility. It doesn't include online help or install and uninstall methods, etc.
