Simply put, DVD2AVI is a movie conversion utility allows you to quickly convert your DVD videos into the AVI video format.

There are certainly a lot of conversion tools available, but DVD2AVI, comes with a simple and user-friendly interface, and with one goal in mind, to decode all your MPEG-2 videos. More precisely, it means that you can convert your VOB, M2P, MPV or M2V videos into AVIs.

After your disc has been loaded, you can choose what files you want to add and prepare for conversion. You should know that the software cannot process video and program streams simultaneously and that encrypted VOB files are not supported.

The saving process is a fairly simple one, but, you have to do a couple of other settings so that your output file will be exactly as it should. First of all, select the Color Space you want to use and pick the corresponding audio file (WAV, AC3 or MPA).

You can save your projects and reload them later in order to continue the work.

Besides the fact that you can preview your movie, you can also use the program to view other information such as video aspect ratio, frame rate or video type, the audio format, and timestamp or the status of the video that's currently playing.
