Mini DVD to iPhone Converter is an application with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to encode DVDs to formats supported by iPhone devices, such as MP4, AVI, WAV and MP3.
The interface of the program is plain and simple to work with. You can open a DVD by using either the file browser or treeview (the "drag and drop" method and batch processing are not allowed).
So, all you have to do is establish the output profile and destination, in order to proceed with the encoding job. But you can also modify audio and video settings when it comes to the codec, size, bit rate, frame rate, aspect ratio, sample frequency rate and channel mode.
Furthermore, you can preview clips in a built-in media player and navigate back and forth within the stream, as well as access the DVD menu, jump to a particular chapter, select the audio language, subtitle track and video angle, and others.
The DVD conversion program requires a very low amount of system resources, has a good response time, can take a while to complete a job and keeps a fair image and sound quality. On the other hand, the tool froze whenever we tried to access the "Navigate" menu. Also, we weren't able to access the help file (clicking the option didn't do anything). We strongly recommend you look for something more advanced than Mini DVD to iPhone Converter.
