The other two complementary functions are performed by the metadata editor, which also supports merging two or more MP3 files, and by the audio recorder. With the latter item, one can create new WAV or MP3 tracks from sounds captured by any device installed on the system, complete with options for custom samples and bitrates.

To conclude, Song Studio is a simple tool for anyone who regularly employs CDs and DVDs to record entire multimedia libraries. The application can perform most tasks without a glitch and several auxiliary tools are also supported, such as a sound recorder and a metadata editor.
