Rip DVD movies to various video/audio formats with many video editing features

Xilisoft DVD Ripper Ultimate is a software application designed to help you turn DVD movies into other video types, such as AVI, ASF, MKV, MOV and MP4.
But it can also extract the audio stream and save it to AAC, AC3, MP3, OGG, RA and WAV, among others, as well as prepare items for iPod, BlackBerry, Android, Xbox and other platforms.
The app is wrapped in a clean and intuitive interface; adding items to the file list can be done via the file browser, tree view or 'drag and drop' method. Processing multiple DVD clips in a single session is possible.
The file queue displays the name, duration, number of chapters, output profile and size, along with the status of each item. If you prefer the default settings, then you can immediately proceed with the conversion procedure by establishing the target folder and profile.
Alternatively, you can configure audio and video settings when it comes to the size, quality, splitting mode (by time, chapters or size), codec, frame rate, bit rate, quality, encode mode, and sample rate, just to name a few.
Furthermore, you can preview clips in a small, built-in media player and capture frames, crop videos, apply watermarks (text or images), load subtitles and apply effects (e.g. greyscale). Plus, you can make the app run in the background and open the output directory or power off the computer when all tasks are done, as well as use a bit rate calculator and specify the number of CPU cores to be used.
Xilisoft DVD Ripper Ultimate supports multiple skins and languages for the interface, quickly finishes a task, includes user documentation and delivers videos with a good image and sound quality. We have not come across any issues during our tests. Thanks to its intuitive layout, less experienced users can quickly learn how to work with this app.
