Magic CD / DVD Burner Pro

Magic CD / DVD Burner Pro is a compact application that is designed to help you create discs with just a few clicks. You can use it when you want to backup your data to a CD or a DVD.

The program features an easy to use interface which allows you to drag and drop an item from the file browser in order to add it to the compilation. The left-side panel displays the content of the disc and you can remove a file with a simple double click.

You can quickly check your device in order to view its capabilities and perform a disc erase on rewriteable media straight from the main interface of the program. This operation should not take too long to complete; it required about 2 minutes in our case.

If you want to create an ISO file instead, the program is up to the task. You just need to select the files that you want to add and select “ISOFile” for the burning method. The created ISO file can be burned to the disk later by pressing the "Burn ISO" button and selecting the image file.

When you want to burn files to a CD or DVD you can select the drive that you want to use and the speed. The program displays a progress bar, the percentage of data that has been written to the disc as well as the writing speed.

The speed of the program is not an advantage as it took about six minutes to write 120 MB of data to a CD. During the process the memory and processor load was insignificant.

Magic CD / DVD Burner Pro provides only the basic features for a CD / DVD burner with the possibility to erase discs. If you need to create audio or video discs you should search for another solution since this program is not designed for that.
