Binary clock for your desktop. #Binary clock #Desktop clock #Clock utility #Binary #Clock #Desktop
There are 10 types of people in the world: those that understand binary and those that don’t. That seems to be the case with Scotts Binary Clock, a small widget that displays the current time with the help of several dots.
The app has a simple interface that should be easy to figure out, thanks to the intuitive layout and its overall simplicity.
As mentioned and as the name suggests, the widget displays the current time in binary by using a LED display. Thus, unless you can read binary, it’s not advisable to install the program.
By default, the clock has a black background, while the round blinking lights are red. From the Settings area of the app, the LED lights can be amber, blue or green, while their shape can be set to rectangular or square instead of round. The background can be changed as well, with the options varying from “Brushed Aluminum”, “Mahogany” and “Transparent”.
The clock’s format can be modified to one of the available settings as well. Also, the time can be set to a 24 hour or 12 hour format.
Scotts Binary Clock is a great tool that is sure to keep you entertained. Less experienced individuals shouldn’t have any troubles while installing or customizing the program.
