Read an in-depth analysis in our professional review for Logon Screen Rotator
Logon Screen Rotator is a straightforward piece of software that allows you to customize the Windows logon screen by applying a series of custom images. It is oriented toward all user levels.
The app is wrapped in a clean and intuitive interface, where you can view the current image in the main frame, and change it to a random picture or specific one.
Importing a series of pictures is possible by using the file browser; you can add as many files as you want, as long as they have the JPG, JPEG, PNG or BMP format. Alternatively, you can add new folders by using the tree view.
Configuration settings revolve around the transition interval (e.g. each logon, once a day, each computer lock), image location (e.g. stretched, centered) and monitored folders (e.g. search subdirectories). Plus, you can restore the image to default, as well as lock the workstation.
Logon Screen Rotator runs on a low-to-moderate amount of system memory and CPU, hence it shouldn't affect the computer's overall performance. It is very responsive to commands and works smoothly, without making the OS freeze, crash or pop up error notifications.
We haven't encountered any problems throughout our evaluation. Thanks to its intuitive layout, Logon Screen Rotator can be handled by all types of users, regardless of their level of experience.
