The bigger your screen is, the better it is to keep a high resolution so you don’t get a pixelated view of everything. Running the application brings up a compact main window which is fitted with several areas accompanied by thorough descriptions so you know what needs to be done. Several drop-down menus let you select visual characteristics, along with an input field to write down a name for the profile you want to create.

Before saving a profile, you can check it out to see how your computer behaves in order to avoid getting stuck in an uncomfortable resolution or unsupported setting combination. A few preset profiles are at your disposal, just to get an idea of how you can combine specifications.

Supported screen resolutions are selected from a drop-down menu. The same can be said about refresh rate and color depth. To save a profile, you also need to specify a combination of buttons to use, with the possibility to check whether or not they’re used by other applications or the system itself.

By default, it quietly sits in the system tray, and even when triggering a different configuration it doesn’t pop up, unless you choose to be asked for confirmation. This is an advantage, because it prevents you from accidentally changing resolution in the middle of an important task. Moreover, the application is set to run with Windows, and there’s no option to disable this, but you can use the Task Manager start-up tab to fix this.
