Clock Screen Saver

Clock Screen Saver is a screensaver designed to turn your computer screen into an analog clock. This way, you can check out time when you are away from the keyboard. The app is easy to install and configure.

Once the installation procedure is done, Clock Screen Saver is automatically applied as your current screensaver. The app displays the current time in analog mode, along with the current day and date.

By default, the color of the clock is neon green but this option can be modified from the 'Settings' area - for the hours, seconds, minutes and other elements.

You can adjust the glow and afterglow intensity, modify the size and allow the clock to change at a specific time interval, as well as choose the date font, font size and clock font.

On top of that, you can hide the seconds and the date, switch to the 12-hour format, display AM and PM, as well as import sound files from the hard drive (in the WAV format) for the seconds, minutes, clock striking and repeat striking. The clock face may also be switched from analog mode to 7-segment digital or text digital. All settings may be restored to their default values at any time.

Obviously, the screensaver does not put a strain on the computer's resources, as it uses a low amount of CPU and system memory. It worked properly during our evaluation, without freezing, crashing or popping up error dialogs. The fact of the matter is that Clock Screen Saver should be a useful tool for verifying time rapidly.
