Given that there are few elements besides the fish that could use up any system resources, the whole app is lightweight and causes no performance drops, neither in screensaver nor animated wallpaper mode. For those running older systems that do encounter any issues, know that several features can be disabled or adjusted from the "Settings menu to ensure everything is always running as smoothly as possible. For example, you can disable the high texture quality, sounds, and music. Having widescreen monitors or multi-monitor systems is not an issue since the app has adjustable resolution, aspect ratio and fully supports multiple monitors at a time.

Worth noting is that the developer created another screensaver that delivers pretty much the same experience, but has an old ruined clock instead of the sunken ship as the background.
