Screen Launcher

A Windows screen saver is simply a Windows application that displays either a configuration dialog box, a preview screen, or a full-screen window. There is a common way to change executable files in screensavers, by renaming it to example.scr. Although Screen Launcher requires no renaming, it still running programs as a screensaver.

For better functionality, the program you intend to open should have some images within, to make sure that there is material for display. For example, to open files such as PowerPoint presentations, you must execute the program and type the path to your ppt as a parameter.

The app needs no installation, simply unzip it, right-click the icon and select ''Install''. After the operating system's screensaver tab is opened, go to ''Settings,'' and the small window that acts as an interface will pop up. Load the program you want to be screensaver, press okay and preview it, to make sure that after the wait time is met, the screensaver will smoothly run.

An example of displaying an image would be c:winntsystem32mspaint.exe c:picture.bmp. In order to take advantage of any media as a screensaver, Screen Launch can lend you a helping hand.
