Halloween Dusk Screensaver

With Halloween just around the corner, it's time to stitch last year's costumes, buy even more candy for trick-or-treaters and, of course, decorate your home.

Computers are not exactly scary but you can do your best to get yours in the mood, such as installing a Halloween-themed wallpaper that also has spooky music playing in the background.

You're in luck, thanks to Halloween Dusk Screensaver. It's a free Windows application that gets set up easily, comfortably setting itself as your new screensaver.

After a quick loading screen, the tool shows a spooky house in front of a cemetery on a dark, rainy night, two ghosts floating around in the cemetery yard, together with occasional lightning. This entire scene is nicely wrapped up by a howling wolf that can be heard in the background.

As far as configuration settings are concerned, you can set the picture position to fill, fit or stretch, disable hardware 3D rendering if there are compatibility issues with your computer, pick a custom display mode for the video adapter, as well as adjust the volume level or mute it. The screensaver can be easily uninstalled when you're done with it.
