The web browsing world is all about the big guys such as Firefox, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Opera and Safari. Although only a handful of users have heard about them, there are some other tools that are still struggling to join the elite of this particular software category, but the odds are against them.
This is also the case of Fast Browser Pro, a pretty good browser that’s still an unpopular software solution that has managed to attract only a limited number of users.
Fast Browser Pro is based on the much more popular Internet Explorer, but comes with a lot of enhancements, while retaining the overall appearance of Microsoft’s application.
The developer claims Fast Browser Pro is able to handle up to 180 webpages while remaining pretty fast and light on hardware resources, but we really wouldn’t go that far.
The most interesting features include up to 500 search engines (we don’t know who needs all of these since Google is the most powerful), a huge collection of links from almost every category, webpage translation, quick downloads and cookie management.
During our test, Fast Browser Pro worked just like any other browser in the world and we can’t really say that it’s faster than the names we’ve mentioned in the beginning of this review.
But all things considered, Fast Browser Pro is a decent alternative to challenge the elite, but there’s still a lot of work to be done before even thinking about that.
