IMSpellchecker XP is a powerful and ease-to-use software that adds spell-checking and auto correction functionality to your favorite Instant Messenger.

The program checks spelling automatically as you type, using wavy red underlines to indicate possible spelling problems. Right-clicking on the underlined word brings the context menu, where you can choose replacement for the incorrect word, add the word to custom dictionary or to the ignore list.

The program uses the built-in spellchecker engine, which now supports ten languages. You can easily download dictionary for your language using "Download dictionary" button on "Spelling" tab in program settings.

Auto correction is used to automatically detect and correct typos, misspelled words, and incorrect capitalization. For example, if you type teh plus a space, then AutoCorrect replaces what you have typed with "the."

You can also use AutoCorrect to quickly insert symbols that are included in the built-in list of AutoCorrect entries. For example, type (c) to insert �. If the list of built-in entries doesn't contain the corrections that you want, you can add entries.

In-place spell checking
You don't need to click any buttons or use hotkey to check your spelling. There are no annoying pop-up windows that interrupt your typing. By default IMSpellchecker XP checks spelling automatically as you type, using wavy red underlines to indicate possible spelling problems. Then you can right-click on the underlined word to get the list of the suggestions.

Correction Modes
You can customize how the program will handle misspellings. Depending of selected correction mode, it can try to find the best suggestion and replace the misspelled word, display suggestions list or simple underline possible misspelling. This allows users with different level of typing experience use the program with maximum convenience and performance.
