CRYPTED-EMAIL is dedicated to users who wish to secure important files sent as attachments via emails. The tool is simple and convenient since it integrates with Outlook, plus it requires minimal configuration. It is capable of encrypting the documents you wish to send, including Word files or PDFs.

CRYPTED-EMAIL is a reliable Outlook add-in that allows you to encrypt the files you attach to emails, on the fly. The tool is simple to install and its controls are displayed in the email client’s interface, in the command ribbon. You need to click on the Preferences tool to activate the encryption and set the password.

The password is required for decoding the document upon receiving the email. You may change this keyphrase at any time, without restarting Outlook. The tool supports encrypting PDFs and other documents created with Microsoft Office. You may thus send encoded Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations via email.

CRYPTED-EMAIL allows you to encode the attachments to each email that you send. The tab is also visible in the command ribbon for writing a new email message, so that you can easily enable/disable the encryption.

Once activated, the tool applies the protection to each supported attachment by default, but you can easily disable the option right for individual emails. Make sure that you have selected the proper option right before sending the message.

CRYPTED-EMAIL uses AES 256-bit encryption algorithms for PDFs and AES 128-bit with CBC for Microsoft Office documents.
