Table to Excel for Firefox

Table to Excel for Firefox is a lightweight extension for the Mozilla Firefox browser. Its purpose is to make it super easy to download HTML tables as Excel (XLS, XLSX) spreadsheets and CSV files. It makes it simple to copy tables to the clipboard as well.

As soon as you install the add-on (the setup is fast since the add-on is so lightweight, having a small filesize) you won't notice anything different about the browser's UI, since the only time the icon appears is when you visit a website with a compatible table featured in it.

Once you press the button, you will need to wait a couple of seconds ( duration depends on the size and complexity of the table), and you will then be given a choice between several table types that you may download.

It doesn't just mindlessly copy and past the content of a page to your clipboard, as it manages to recognize various formatting features done.

If you're interested in other features, you can enable several other options from Table to Excel's addon page, such as the ability to extract link URLs from table cells, image source attributes or adding a space between HTML contents.
