Facemoods is a toolbar supported by several web browsers, including Internet Explorer and Firefox, which allows users to enhance their Facebook chatting experience using emoticons, smileys and other fun pictures to express themselves.

During the installation procedure, it is mandatory to make Funmoods search your default search home page and new tab, in order to proceed. Web browsers will be automatically closed to apply the new modifications.

Once installed, you can access Facebook Chat and click the smiley face in the text box to bring up the Facemoods panel and select an emoticon or image to imediately insert it into the chat message.

Facemoods supplies users with many smiley faces, and they are organized into different categories, such as "Carnaval", "Moods" and "Aliens". However, there are no configuration parameters available. For example, you cannot create an emoticon favorites list or remove items from the panel.

The simple-to-use application is light on the system resources and doesn't burden the web browser or cause it to hang, crash or show error messages. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation. Facemoods is a fun tool for all Facebook users, and it can be easily worked it, regardless of the level of experience.
