Working in database environments, DBMSs, and database formats can be a bit tricky, especially when wanting to achieve better interoperability, which more often than not might require the introduction of format conversions. Users can rely on the import features of their respective DBMS, or make use of dedicated apps, such as Exportizer. Just as its name might suggest, this application doesn’t only provide exporting features but also allows one to easily import database data, convert it to a preferred output format and save it for further use in another app.

The application’s main working principle relies on a standard, data-in, data-out approach, and users will be able to bring their database data into the app quite easily, thanks to the dedicated importing features.

Speaking of importing, we enjoyed the fact that Exportizer is relatively capable in terms of the supported formats, having a quite long list of database extensions that are accepted for both importing and exporting.

Aside from the importing and exporting capabilities, the application also allows users to preview the loaded database data, and we believe that this is a welcome addition, as one might prefer to actually see which database contents are being converted and exported.

To that end, a dedicated query module is included, which allows one to easily narrow down and filter the database contents easily, therefore ensuring that only the preferred information is migrated to the selected output format.
