SQLeoVQB

SQLeoVQB, aka Visual Query Builder based on SQLeonardo, is a powerful SQL query tool, which enables you to generate advanced SQL queries, as well as to reverse engineer database models.

This Java-based tool is highly flexible and offers support for a multitude of database types, data sources and drivers.

The utility can work with a large series of complex queries, generated with tools such as OBIEE, Microstrategy, Cognos, Hyperion or Pentaho.

Not only can it reverse engineer the databases, but it can also transform advanced queries into visual representations, as charts and diagrams.

You can even generate your SQL query in a visual environment and facilitate its analysis or integration with other tools.

SQLeoVQB features a user-friendly GUI, through which you can view the available databases and queries, to connect to them or configure new data sources.

The tool can work with a vast collection of database types, including Apache Derby, CsvJdbc, Firebird, HSQLDB, jTDS (both SQL Server and Sybase), MySQL, ODBC, Oracle and PostgreSQL.

SQLeoVQB’s interface is split in two areas, for better management: the column on the left displays the available connections while the one on the right constitutes the main working space. It is where the query results are displayed, where you can view the schema structure.

The tool includes several SQL libraries that facilitate the generation and analysis of queries, plus offer support for complex operations.

Moreover, SQLeoVQB can be run in the designer mode, a visual management mode, as well as in syntax mode, which allows you to manually modify the scripts.

The utility allows you to preview the results of the queries, as well as analyze the tables contained in the selected schema.

The designer mode window displays the tables as individual boxes that you can adjust with a few mouse clicks, such as join tables with drag and drop movements.
