tinyREST

tinyREST is a comprehensive and effective Java-based application whose main purpose resides in simplifying matters for programmers whenever they need to set up a REST server, as it can take just a couple of minutes to get it done, without the regular fuss that it entails.

Java-based REST servers can be used by developers for programming and testing their applications, particularly those that require communication with a server.

The creation of a new server requires programmers just to copy a sample project class and implementing a handler class. For making public functions from a handler class also available as HTTP REST functions, users can resort to reflection.

Moreover, for creating a new function, programmers only need to take single RestRequest arguments. In return, this will grant users access to the HTTP query and header. It even offers of responding to the output stream.

tinyREST allows POST bodies to be automatically parsed, even featuring various methods through which objects can be formatted as HTTP content. Also, users can setup a service by relying on Java Service Wrapper.

In the source package, there is a sample code that programmers can use for creating services. Alternately, they can turn it into a standalone app by removing the WrapperListner reference and overriding annotations.
