Network Caller ID

The utility of software that can help determine the caller ID is more than apparent, especially in circumstances such as those that are encountered in corporations or other organizations that rely heavily on phone calls as means of interaction. Having the ability to control the behavior and characteristics of calls, from a receiver’s perspective, can make big differences in the efficiency with which the entire caller endeavor is approached.

Network Caller ID, just as its name suggests, was developed specifically in order to provide a dedicated framework that relies on a client-gateway-server combination for obtaining caller IDs, converting corresponding messages to NCDI formats, as well as displaying the entire information in a GUI terminal.

The server component will obtain either caller ID, or ongoing call information and it will be able to distribute it to the corresponding network, to all the connected participants. The actual number is provided as both unformatted and formatted, corresponding to the server location country.

Last but not least, standard operations for calls, such as hang-ups are also supported by the NCID server, which can also, if required, alter the alias and even blacklist or whitelist certain files from any particular users.
