DENIM is a web design tool whose purpose is to help developers create, edit and run websites in the early stages of their designs. The program supports sketch input, different refinement levels, as well as unification through zooming.

This is a Java-based application, so you need to firstly deploy the working environment on your computer.

The layout looks clean and is composed of three main panels: the zoom slider can be used for controlling the zoom level at which you can view your web design, toolbox implements several editing tools, while the canvas is the area where you can sketch your design.

The application helps you perform basic editing features, such as cut, copy, paste and delete, undo or redo your actions, and pick the color ink (red, green, black). DENIM lets you insert different components into your design, namely text, image or page. You can enter a custom text message for the page label.

What’s more, you can make use of several navigation commands for viewing the web design, namely zoom in or out of the center, hide radar view, or move to the center of the design.

The zoom panel embeds several handy modes for analyzing your web design, and you may opt for an overview, site map, story board, page or detail.

When it comes to configuration settings, you are allowed to set up the default page size and background image (GIF, JPG, PNG or BMP file format), automatically save the project at a custom time, show or hide a grid with custom settings for the horizontal and vertical spacing, as well as alter the font.
