1-More WebCam

1-More WebCam is a software application able to capture screenshots from your webcam. It can be used as your personal surveillance tool, as it uploads the images to an FTP server at the specified time interval.

It boasts a clean interface that allows users to start or stop the recording process or choose a saving directory and make the application group the sessions into subfolders daily. You may also upload them to an FTP server, provided that you have specified the server address, username and password.

You can view the images directly from the main window and create MPEG video files from the selected photos. An important feature worth mentioning is the possibility of specifying the uploading time interval.

Additional settings enable users to include date and time information, as well as make the program generate grayscale images. Of course, the quality of the generated images pretty much depends on the webcam installed on your computer, as top quality pictures are delivered with high-resolution devices.

On the downside, it lacks many advanced features, as it doesn’t come packed with zooming options, nor allow users to pick the recording position (top left or right corner), and activate a face detection option.

All things considered, 1-More WebCam offers only a few options for helping users capture images with the use of their webcam. Unfortunately, the entire process is not very intuitive and you may spend some time configuring the dedicated parameters.
