And although the Nokia developed software solution comes in very handy, there are users who'd like to extract just a piece of information from the backups this application creates when synchronizing data between the computer and the mobile phone.
This is how Noki came to life, as the developer promises to let users extract with just a few clicks notes, phonebook entries, messages and virtually any type of information stored into a backup file.
The application is indeed very easy to work with, providing a straightforward interface that comprises just a few options.
Supported file formats
The whole information extraction process comes down to browsing for the backup file and choosing the format of the output. You can pick one of the three available formats, namely text document, Excel or HTML.
Choose the files that you want to extract
There's also a configuration menu that allows you to choose the information you wish to extract from the backup files, with options including packed pictures, phonebook, text messages, calendar database, emails, bookmarks, notes, MMS and user files.
One of the great things about Noki is that it comes with a comprehensive help menu, with lots of documentation on basically every single option included in the app, but also with some Tips and Tricks to help you take advantage of its features without wasting too much time.
All in all, if you are trying to deal with Nokia PC Suite backup files, Noki might be one of the easiest apps to help you in this regard.
