You can purchase the full version of AudioCatalyst by clicking on the Buy Now button when you open or close the trial version of AudioCatalyst, or by selecting Purchase AudioCatalyst from the Help menu.
AudioCatalyst now lets you choose between spaces or underscores when creating file names and folders for your MP3 and Wav files. To set this option, see Configuring
Your Ripping Settings in the Help files.
The Help files now include an entire Getting Started section with step by step instructions to help you get to the fun part more quickly - creating MP3 files.
If you change your Audio Playback Device Settings in Windows, Settings, Multimedia Properties dialog, the changes are not reflected in AudioCatalyst.
The default CD-ROM set in Windows, Settings, Multimedia Properties dialog is not reflected in AudioCatalyst.
If you want to specify a removable drive (such as a Jaz drive), or a network volume for saving your MP3 files, click the Browse button and then type in the drive letter or network volume.
Here are some key features of "AudioCatalyst":
· AudioCatalyst now includes two new CDDB features - Submit to CDDB, and Visit CDDB.com.
· If your CD's information is not found in CDDB, you can submit the
· CD's information to the CDDB database. When you select Submit to
· CDDB, a Disc Submit form wizard steps you though the process of submitting your CD to CDDB.
· AudioCatalyst links you directly to the CDDB Web site. From the
· CD menu, select Visit CDDB.com.
Limitations:
The trial version of the AudioCatalyst has three restrictions:
· You cannot encode WAV files from your hard drive to MP3 files.
· You can only encode a randomly selected set of tracks.
· You can only encode at 128 Kbit/s. Other bitrates are available in the full version of the AudioCatalyst.
