Launching the program lands you on the app's recording panel. Once you've decided on the sound's source, the settings menu is where you should look first. To access the settings, one must click the microphone or clock icons located on the lower-left side of the UI.

You can start by setting up a new output location, using the General Tab. Follow that up by choosing the Audio Source. The application is set to record computer audio by default, so you must check the Record Audio Input and select a device to change that.

Missing your favorite streams could happen in everyday life. In case you wish to record the tunes or even podcasts you might miss, you could try the scheduling aspect of the app. Determine a start time and a record duration, and the tool will proceed to record whatever falls into that interval without any intervention. If you wish to shut down the PC after the scheduled task is over, you must simply check the corresponding box.

Another set of useful options can be found in the Control menu. To save space and avoid empty intervals within your recording, you can instruct the program to split the parts where silence is detected for a pre-determined amount of time. For example, if you set up a split interval of 1.5 seconds, any silence time under that value will be chopped off and ignored by the overall record.

Also, from the same Control tab, one can filter out tracks longer than an X value. If you deem, let's say, 5 minutes of recordings unworthy of your collection, you can steer the app to ignore and delete any item matching that interval.

Leawo Music Recorder is a rudimentary recording tool for online and device-based recordings. You won't get top-notch software for the sum, but you'll have a dependable tool that will surely capture audio from a couple of advertised sources.
