OooPlayer

OooPlayer is a music playback application that enables you to listen to your favorite songs from within a user-friendly interface. With a very low impact on system resources and a lightweight footprint, it can be a good alternative if you are looking for a simple and easy to use audio player.

Its interface is clean, mostly occupied by the playlist area where all the music files are stored. Each loaded file is displayed alongside the artist and the album name, if available, as well as the exact song duration and other information, such as the audio rate, the number of channels, used encoder and frequency. The cover art is also shown.

OooPlayer is compatible with some of the most popular audio formats, namely MP3, AAC, OGG, FLAC, WMA, but it can also handle other file types, such as OPUS, ALAC, APE, MPC, TTA, WV, AC3, SPX, TAK or OFR. You can either select individual files or pick a folder and let the application choose the supported formats.

The application comes with basic playback controls, enabling you to easily pause, resume, stop the current song or jump to the next or the previous playlist entry. Navigating throughout a song is easy, thanks to the dedicated bar, while the search function can be used to look for a specific song.

Songs can be played one by one (normal mode) or randomly. OooPlayer also includes shuffle and repeat options. Created playlists can be saved to PPF, M3U or M3U8 format and loaded at a later time.
