Poise is a lightweight easy-to-use drum sampler that features a streamlined workflow and that therefore, allows you to use your energy on making music, rather than wasting it on learning how to operate complicated plug-ins. Among the highlights of the tool you can count the 15 drum pads, each of them being capable of loading up to 8 samples.

As previously mentioned, the idea behind the tool is to make your music making job simpler. You can configure the plug-in so that the drum pads are triggered via various MIDI notes. While you can select multiple drum pads for your projects using shift-click or via dragging, you should bear in mind that this changes the parameters for all the items selected, including the sample layers. Swapping the drum pads is just as straightforward and entails dragging and dropping them while holding the Alt or Control key.

Other noteworthy features of the plug-in include the fact that you can tweak each layer on a pad separately or together, layers can be played layered, in velocity switching mode or round robin, it enables you to create notes on your samples and save your own kits quickly. The plug-in works with the common sound files, such as MPC, AIFF, SND or WAV.
