Merge MP3 0.1n
A little tool designed to help you join MP3 files
This is a portable software, so installing Merge MP3 is not necessary. It means that you can place it on a removable drive, plug it into any computer and directly run its executable file on any computer. Also, your Windows registry items will remain unchanged.
The interface of the tool is simplistic and intuitive. Audio tracks can be imported into the list via the file browser or "drag and drop" method.
In the list you can check out the source path, short name, date and size of each file. So, once you specify the output destination and filename, you can proceed with the encoding task.
Additionally, you can edit ID3 tags (e.g. title, artist, year, album), preview songs in a built-in media player, look for duplicates, import and export playlists, sort files (e.g. randomize) and view file properties.
In the "Preferences" area you can enable Merge MP3 to merge duplicate files without warnings and by using the raw stream mode, and to automatically check for program updates online, select the thread priority, and more.
The audio processing tool requires a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a good sound quality. We haven't come across any issues during our tests. Unfortunately, there is no help file available and the interface needs some improvements, since it is slightly outdated. Otherwise, we strongly recommend Merge MP3 to all users.
