Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch 2.2-2
Stretch your audio files with this tool.
It packs a clean interface that offers quick access to all its main functions. It would have been useful to include a help menu, as it may be pretty difficult for beginners to understand the use of the dedicated parameters.
The program bundles three areas for dealing with the stretching process, namely audio parameters, post-processing effects and binaural beats.
You can easily select a stretching value, thanks to its built-in slider, and a mode (e.g. stretch, hyper stretch), and enable the stretch mode by specifying the position, minimum and maximum value and others. The application displays graphs that reveal important data about the stretching process.
It is possible to adjust the harmonic of the sound by typing in the value in the dedicated dialogs. Additionally, you can select the pitch shift and octave mixer, apply audio filters, and adjust the noise settings. You may adjust the upper and lower frequencies of audio files, thanks to its built-in bandwidth slider.
The built-in audio player can help you listen to all the adjustments that you have made to your songs. You can select the binaural beats by configuring the dedicated parameters. Of course, the quality of the generated audio files pretty much depends on the quality of the input files.
The application offers support for the following file formats: WAV, OGG Vorbis and MP3.
To sum things up, Paul's Extreme Sound Stretch proves to be a handy solution when it comes to stretching audio files and apply special effects. It bundles a decent pack of features and is also light on your system resources.
