Hanjian Photo Editor

Hanjian Photo Editor is a simple-to-use image editing application mainly designed for novice users. It comes packed with image filters and plenty of customization settings, all wrapped up in a familiar interface.

The setup procedure is rapid and uneventful. The main application window is similar to the ones of common graphics editor, so navigation shouldn't be an issue.

The supported image formats are JPG, PNG, TIF, BMP and GIF. They can be opened using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop feature is not supported. Hanjian Photo Editor supports multiple tabs, meaning that you can open multiple pictures at once and easily toggle them.

You can view a histogram and select the color channel, along with full statistics on the means, medians, minimum and maximum values, and so on.

It is possible to clone, crop, flip, mirror or rotate images, zoom in and out, as well as apply various filters concerning the color (e.g. black and white, sepia, inversion), HSL and YCbYCr color space, binarization (e.g. threshold), morphology (e.g. erosion, dilatation), and many others.

Hanjian Photo Editor is low-demanding when it comes to CPU and RAM, so it does not concern the overall performance of the computer. It has a good response time and works well, without causing the OS to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.

We have not come across any issues in our testing. Hanjian Photo Editor comes packed with plenty of useful options to teach novices about various graphic editing functions.
