SiteShoter

SiteShoter is a small packaged application that allows you to screenshot a Web page and save it as a file.

The interface is reduced to a single window where all setting are visible and no combo menus are present. The tool can be also run in command-line mode therefore the interface is not needed. For a full list of commands, check the "readme" file or the developer's website.

To start making screenshots, first you need to choose your file saving path. Go to the "Filename" field, write down the destination folder, "%url%" and type the desired format to create the file. For example "C:\user\pictures\%url%.jpg." The formats supported by SiteShot are JPG, PNG, TIFF, BMP and GIF.

As all the settings are displayed in the interface, choosing the desired options is very simple. First of all make sure you fill in the URL field and then you can set the browser dimensions. You can also use the check-mark field that will automatically adjust the browser size according to the Web page

Taking screenshots can be easily done, as the time between them can be customized with the desired value. You can stop the tool from taking screenshots by setting the "Timeout" field. Note that the timeout is displayed in milliseconds so you have to add three zeros for a second.

To sum it up, SiteShot may be a useful application for those of you who need a sort of automated process to take screenshots of multiple web pages in a relatively short time. This application does not require any installation and does not create additional DLL files. Simply extract the archive and run the executable file or boot it from command prompt.
