Picture Resizer is a simple-to-use application that enables you to change the dimensions of multiple graphic files at the same time. It offers support for popular file types, such as PNG, JPG, GIF, TIF and BMP.

The tool doesn't contain complicated options or customization preferences, making it accessible to all kinds of users, even those less experienced with image processing utilities.

Installing it takes minimal time and effort, since there are no special options or third-party offers bundled with the setup kit. However, you must have .NET Framework installed, since it was developed with the aid of this platform.

As far as the interface is concerned, Picture Resizer opts for a normal window with a plain appearance and neatly structured layout, where you can indicate a directory whose containing photographs you want to resize.

There are no options implemented for handpicking the exact pics to resize while excluding the rest, so all items are taken into account. On the other hand, you can preview the thumbnails, image names and extensions.

Two different sets of properties can be made for portrait and landscape images, so you can enter the new width and height (pixels). The task starts with the click of a button afterward.

Worth noting is that the application creates new files with the new size and places them in a subfolder in the root directory. They preserve the original file names and extensions. There's no need to create backups prior to using this product. However, it's not possible to set a custom folder.

It worked smoothly in our tests, without triggering the operating system to hang, crash or prompt errors. Tasks were carried out quickly, during which the tool remained light on system resources consumption.
