Image Resizer 2.0
Quick installation and simple GUI
Setting up the app takes little time and minimal effort. As for the interface, Image Resizer adopts a regular window with an intuitive layout, where images can be added with the help of the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop support is not featured.
Images can be previewed in the main frame in thumbnail form, and it is possible to enlarge any selected one, as well as to remove any pictures from the list.
Specify the maximum new width or height
The resizing process is quite simple. All you have to do is specify the resizing method between height and width, input the maximum size in pixels, and point out the saving directory. Once the job is done, you can open the output destination without leaving Image Resizer's interface. There are no other notable options available here.
Evaluation and conclusion
The tool does not put a strain on PC performance, since it runs on low CPU and RAM. We have not come across any stability issues throughout our tests, as Image Resizer did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. Although it is not feature-rich, this small piece of software offers a simple solution to resizing popular types of images in batch mode, and it can be used by anyone.
