People with an affinity for art can usually recognize the works of various painters based on their styles alone, as these are as different as they are inspiring. If you have ever wanted to make your videos, photos or GIFs look like they were created by famous artists, NeuralStyler is an application that can help you out.

It enables you to enhance your media files using filters based on the works of influential painters, and it can output them to MP4, GIF or JPG files. It is very intuitive, but it lacks some useful features.

NeuralStyler is capable of processing videos, images and GIFs, but a complete list of the supported formats is not provided. The application is fairly straightforward for the most part, but a user manual would still have been very helpful.

As far as exporting goes, the program can save videos to MP4, images to JPG and animations to GIF. Sadly, no other output formats are supported.

The operation can take quite a bit of time, so you need to take this into consideration when processing very large videos.

NeuralStyler can enhance existing content by using filters based on the works of artists like Vincent van Gogh, Wassily Kandinsky and Georges Seurat. An example is provided when you select any of these styles to help you decide if it is the right one for you.

However, while you can choose from a number of preset resolutions, it is not possible to fine-tune the dimensions of the output files. Also, no encoding settings can be altered.

It is also worth mentioning that the program does not offer support for drag and drop, and you cannot change the output location.

On the whole, NeuralStyler is an easy-to-use application that enables you to transform your videos, images or GIFs into artworks based on the styles of famous painters. It still needs a few improvements, but it shows a lot of promise.
