Uploading pictures is not all about selfies and keeping your social network updated with recent pics. Some particular limitations might be encountered, some of which even specifying maximum size. In this regard, QuikResizer comes with a powerful set of tools with which to resize and convert multiple pictures at a time.

The application doesn’t even need to be installed on your computer to function, and the lightweight package it comes in makes it possible to have it carried around on a thumb drive. The computer you use it on doesn’t have to suffer any changes, because registry entries remain intact during the entire operation.

As far as the visual design is concerned, the application comes with a custom-made interface and intuitive overall arrangement of elements to make accommodation easy for individuals of all levels of experience. One half in particular is the list of files you add to the operation, while process details are configured in the other half.

You can rely on the browse dialog to select files of interest, or simply drag a selection of pictures over the main window. Supported formats make it possible to process BMP, JPG, PNG, GIF, and TIFF. Conversion isn’t required, but you do have the option to select a different output format, just like for input.

The destination folder is specified through the dedicated browse dialog. A new name can be attached to files. Resize specifications can be written down in width and height, with an option to keep aspect ratio. Original files remain intact, and the operation doesn’t take a lot of time to generate the new files.
