A-Z Video Converter Ultimate is a software that can encode media files of various formats (including AVI,  MOV, MPEG, VOB, WMV, WMA, ASF and 3GP) to others (AVI, MPEG, MOV, RM, WMV, iPOD, MP4).

The interface of the program is simple to navigate through. You can import media by using the file browser (the "drag and drop" method is unsupported but batch processing is).

So, you can preview the video, set the output destination and format, set A-Z Video Converter Ultimate to automatically turn off the computer when finishing a task and initiate the conversion process.

Furthermore, you can configure settings when it comes to video (frame rate, profile, codec, width and height) and audio (codec, bitrate, rate, sample frequency rate, channels, volume).

The program takes up a moderate amount of system resources, includes a brief help file and quickly finishes a conversion process. However, you cannot add multiple files at once and the program has some bugs.

For example, we converted two files of different formats to the RM extension. The image quality was very good but sound disappeared completely. Also, A-Z Video Converter Ultimate crashed once when we tried canceling a task after it froze. The demo version is severely limited.

So, if you want to encode between various media formats, then you can try A-Z Video Converter Ultimate but we recommend other, more stable programs.
