Quick setup and user-friendly GUI
The installation procedure is carried out quickly and does not require special attention. As for the interface, KingConvert For VCD Player opts for a regular window with a neatly organized structure, where audio and video files can be added to the task list using the file browser, folder view or drag-and-drop method. Contents may also be included directly from DVDs, CDs or VCDs.
Batch processing is supported, which means that you can work with multiple files at the same time to reduce overall task duration. Shown information includes the name, size, type, status, full path and output directory for each entry.
Adjust video settings before conversion
It is possible to trim clips by marking the start and end position, establish an audio delay, point out the saving directory, remove an item from the list or clear the entire queue and start from scratch, as well as to save the current settings and restore them to default at a later time. Plus, the PC can be set to automatically power off on task completion.
Evaluation and conclusion
KingConvert For VCD Player did not put a strain on PC performance in our evaluation, but it takes a long time to finish a conversion job, and its response time is not very good. We must also take into account that the tool has received updates for a pretty long time. All things considered, the overall package seems a bit too expensive. Users are likely to find apps with similar functionality at a more reasonable price.
