Total Video Converter 3.71 is a conversion tool which you can use to change the format of your video and audio files.
After a brief installation which gives you the possibility of integrating Total Video Converter in the Windows Explorer context menu, you can access the menu right next to the New Task button, in the Total Video Converter standard interface (Easy Mode).
Here you can choose to import media files, download Flash video (only available for Windows XP), access Video Editor, Import Photos (in order to convert them to video files), access Desktop Capture and Game Capture (a type of tool which some YouTube users have), copy from a AVCHD disc, or copy from audio CD discs.
There is also an advanced tools option where you can extract or multiplex video and audio, combine and convert several media files into one, start Media Burner, or start Media Player.
In addition, you can change skin into classic mode or royal blue, as well as language.
If you select Advanced Mode, two additional sections appear below the entire window of Total Video Converter, and they grant you access to input file settings and output files settings.
You can convert a file supported by pocket players (e.g. iPod, iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry), convert and burn (e.g. DVD, DivX DVD, Audio CD), into web-based formats (FLV, GIF, SWF), into video formats (e.g. AVI, MOV, MP4), into audio formats (e.g. WAV, FLAC, MP3, OGG, WMA), or into AVCHD and HD video formats.
We tested Total Video Converter, and it lived up to its name – the process was quick, and the quality of the images and pictures were fairly preserved. Give it a test run and see for yourself.
