Ultra MKV Converter

Ultra MKV Converter is an application that allows you to encode video files with the MKV format to other extensions, such as AVI, MP4, MPG and 3GP.

The interface of the program is clean and intuitive. Media files can be imported into the list via the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch conversion is allowed.

In the queue you can check out the source path, resolution, start and end time, along with status of each file. Once you specify the output destination and profile, you can initiate the encoding job.

You can configure audio and video settings when it comes to the quality, size, volume and letterbox, select the audio track and subtitle source, preview clips in a small, built-in media player and cut them by marking the start and end position, set post-task actions (e.g. exit program, turn off computer), and others.

The video processing application uses a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, supports several languages for the interface, quickly finishes a task and manages to preserve a good image and sound quality. We haven't encountered any issues during our tests and highly recommend Ultra MKV Converter to all users.
