Movie DVD Maker is a software that can help you create DVDs, VCDs and SVCDs from videos of various formats, including AVI, DIVX, XVID, ASF, and MOV.

The user interface of the program is easy to navigate through. Once you have selected your preferred output format, you can start adding files by using the file browser or the "drag and drop" method.

In the list you can view the name, resolution, start time, end time and status for each source file.

In addition, you can set a name for the disc label and select to either burn to disc or to the hard drive, as well as move selected files up and down on the list, or split them.

But you can also configure settings when it comes tot he DVD disc type, output destination and quality, TV type, width and height, aspect ratio, audio codec, decode engine and CPU usage.

Plus, you can add a letterbox to keep aspect ratio, adjust the output volume, set Movie DVD Maker to automatically split a DVD chapter every given number of minutes and to eject the DVD or automatically shutdown the computer when burning is complete.

The application uses a moderate amount of system resources, includes a well-drawn help file with a step-by-step tutorial and snapshots, and manages to complete a task in a short amount of time.

However, the trial version is severely limited (as you can see in the Product Description below) and you cannot set the speed for the disc burning process.

All in all, Movie DVD Maker is a very good tool for creating DVDs, VCDs and SVCDs from most popular video extensions and we strongly recommend it to all users.
