QQ-Player is a simple media player that comes bundled with a few useful features.
It supports several media formats, including ASF, AVI, WMV, RM, SWF, IFO, VOB, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA and FLAC.
The interface of the program is simple and intuitive. You can import media by using the file browser or the "drag and drop" method.
So, you can use basic media player tools, like pause and stop, play the next or previous track, adjust the volume (increase up to 1000%), switch to full screen mode and navigate back and forth within the stream.
But you can also create a playlist and add bookmarks, enable shuffle and loop mode, open a CD or DVD, jump to a particular frame, change the aspect ratio, screen size and rotation, select a different audio channel, configure an equalizer, load subtitles (dual mode is supported), synchronize them and set their position.
In addition, you can display lyrics and look for them online, change the interface appearance, take a screenshot, create a storyboard, capture and merge audio and video, use a video compression tool, as well as convert media to 3GP or MP4, for mobile devices.
Furthermore, you can set QQ-Player to remember the playback position, run multiple instances, automatically load subtitles with the same file name and automatically search for subtitles online, as well as minimize to system tray.
Plus, you can set file associations, reassign keyboard shortcuts, select HD mode (stable, smart HD, custom optimized) and decoders (separators, audio, video), configure audio and video settings, check for updates, and more.
The program uses a very low amount of system resources and has a very good response time. No errors have popped up during our tests. If a file requires codecs to play, then QQ-Player will automatically download them in a few seconds.
Unfortunately, some portions are written in Chinese and you cannot change this option. Also, the online help file is exclusively in Chinese. But QQ-Player is easy to learn and we highly recommend it to all users.
