Allok Video to 3GP Converter is a tool that can convert among various multimedia file formats (e.g. AVI, MKV, MPEG, RM, RMVB, RAW, VOB, WAV).
The user interface of the program is clean and simple to use. All you have to do is add files to the queue (batch conversion and the "drag and drop" method are supported), configure settings and initiate the conversion process. In the queue, you can view the name, type, file size, start and end time, as well as status of the files.
Thus, you can set the output destination and format (according to the profile), configure video quality and size, audio quality and volume, as well as optionally split the file to a specific size (in other words, the software is also a video splitter) and enable a computer shutdown once the tasks have completed.
Furthermore, in the "Settings" menu, you can select the decoder engine, CPU core number and the maximum concurrent conversion tasks number. You can also set additional video options (codec, rate, letter box) and audio options (codec, channel, sample frequency rate).
The program finishes a task in a short amount of time and manages to maintain a good image and sound quality, while using a low-to-moderate amount of system resources. It also comes with a well-drawn help file that contains snapshots and we haven't encountered major problems during our tests.
All in all, Allok Video to 3GP Converter is a very good tool for encoding video files and we recommend you give it a shot.
