Free Screen To Video is a lightweight program that you can use to record the activity of your monitor. This type of program is ideal if you plan on making a video tutorial that you want to share with your friends online, for instance.
The interface of the application is clean and intuitive. You can select the area to capture (whole screen, window or selected area), output format (AVI, FLV, WMV, SWF) and destination before starting to record.
In the list you can check out the name, format, duration and size, as well as date and time of creation for each recording.
In addition, you can include the mouse cursor and configure mouse events settings (e.g. draw left button click), along with opacity.
On top of that, you can access the configuration panel to modify audio and video preferences when it comes to the device, input pin, volume, format, frames per seconds, codecs, and others.
The simple-to-use tool takes up a low-to-moderate amount of system resources and has a very good response time. We haven't found any problems during our tests, since Free Screen To Video didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors.
The image and sound quality of the output videos is very good and the video runs pretty smoothly. Unfortunately, there is no help available. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend Free Screen To Video to all user levels.
