Schedule TV recordings and pause live TV
NextPVR is a fully featured Personal Video Recorder (PVR) that allows you to schedule TV recordings and view and pause live TV.
In additional to this PVR functionality, it also acts as a media center allowing you to watch movies, listen to music, view pictures and listen to FM radio.
NextPVR also supports specialist hardware decoders including Sigma Designs XCard, Hauppauge PVR350 and Hauppauge MediaMVP. NextPVR also supports multiple tuners, allowing you to record more multiple channels at one time.

Requirements:
· A 1GHz PIII class CPU or higher is recommended, with ideally 512MB of RAM or more.
· A supported video capture device. Analog capture devices must have an on-board hardware MPEG2 encoder. Digital ATSC or DVB devices must have BDA compliant drivers. A full list of devices can be found on the wiki.
· Microsoft .NET 2.0 runtime
· You must also have installed the updated Microsoft runtime files from before installing NextPVR.
· If you're running Windows 2000, you'll also need to install MDAC2.6 (or higher).

· in the device settings you can now double click a channel to edit it's tuning information. Frequency, SID, service type etc. Should be useful for advanced users wanting to make tweaks when broadcasters move stuff around.
· digital recording is now done 'out of process' to workaround an issue where digital devices could sometimes lockup when stopping recordings, requiring recording service to be restarted.
· fixed a problem with deleting recordings from a client PC
· fixed an issue that would stop the DirectX UI working on older graphics cards that dont support hardware vertex processing
· now able to configure the number seconds that must have been watched before a recording shows the 'watched' indicator. See in config.xml. Previously it was hardcoded to 60 seconds.
· VMR9 Custom and VMR9 FSE video renderer options now also available for DVD playback.
· BUILDING_GRAPH event now fires for DVD playback.
· reduced the time a ShowMessage call displays info on the screen. Most people agreed it was too...
