Micro Video Capture

Micro Video Capture is a small Windows application whose purpose is to help you record videos and images via a webcam, TV tuner card, digital camera or other capture devices in real time. You are allowed to save the clips to AVI file format and add watermark.

You are welcomed by a multi-tabbed environment that allows you capture data from DV, TV or other devices.

The tool lets you watch the recorded clips using the integrated player that comes packed with basic playback controls. You may start or stop the recording and seek for a position in the video streams. Images can also be previewed directly in the main window.

Micro Video Capture gives you the possibility to start or stop the recording mode, enable the motion detection function in order to capture data only if movement is perceived, as well as adjust the motion sensitivity level.

Capture settings allow you to specify the saving directory, adjust the volume and balance, and enable the audio recording.

What’s more, you can make the application automatically take screenshots at a user-defined time in seconds, pick the output format (BMP or JPG), and select the saving directory.

The tool is able to send pictures via email, play custom audio notifications (MP3, MIDI, WAV), run a user-defined program, stop the video recording in case your free space is limited, and keep logs which can be sent via email.

Micro Video Capture lets you choose the codec type (AVI/MPEG or ASF) and enable video and audio compression. Upon taking screenshots, you can make the program rename files based on a prefix, specify the number of frames, and adjust the picture size.

You may embed text or image watermarks in your recordings, alter images in terms of brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue, apply video deinterlacing effects, as well as flip or rotate the photos to different angles.

Aside from video recording capabilities, Micro Video Capture is able to automatically take screenshots, detect movement, play various types of alerts, and embed watermarks. Plus, it does not take too much time to get used to working with it.
