Ping GUI is a very simple software program that enables you to test the connectivity strength between the local and remote hosts via the Ping command.
It contains only a few standard options that don't require special experience with network utilities to figure out.
The installation operation is a fast and simple job that doesn't need special attention. Ping GUI is wrapped in a plain-looking but easy-to-navigate interface that shows all options available.
You can indicate an IP address and ask the tool to resolve IP addresses to host names, as well as specify the timeout (in milliseconds), number of echo requests, buffer size, and time to live.
The Ping command can be sent with one click. Once results start appearing in the main application window, you can check out the host name, bytes, time, time to live, and error message or code (if any) for each IP address. It's possible to copy the IP address or host name to the Clipboard, as well as to save settings for future Ping GUI launches.
We haven't come across any stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that Ping GUI didn't hang, crash or display error messages. It had a good response time and low impact on computer performance, thanks to the fact that it needed low CPU and RAM to work properly.
Although it doesn't come packed with rich options or customization preferences, Ping GUI offers a solution for checking PC connectivity via Ping.
