IPHost Network Monitor is a network and server monitoring software. This tool allows you monitoring of internet/intranet websites and applications, mail servers, database servers and other resources inside and outside your network.

Supported protocols are HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, ODBC, PING, and others. SNMP browser is included. You can also use any Nagios plugin to monitor what you need with IPHost Network Monitor. Administrator tools provided. Daily, weekly, monthly and custom summary, trend and problem reports for any monitor, host or group.

Here are some key features of "IPHost Network Monitor":

· Sends a standard PING to the server/device
· Checks whether the server accepts connection at the specified port number
· UDP datagram send/receive on a specific port
· Checks an SMTP server with optional authentication and sends a test message
· Checks a POP3 server with optional authentication
· Checks an IMAP server with optional authentication
· GET or POST HTTP/HTTPS request with optional content validation
· Checks an FTP server with optional authentication
· Checks current CPU load on remote computer via WMI
· Checks current volume of available memory on remote computer via WMI
· Checks current inbound throughput on remote computer
· Checks current outbound throughput on remote computer
· Runs custom WMI script to check some value on remote computer
· Monitors the free disk space of a local disk drive or a remote network share

· Monitoring the presence of any Windows service on the local machine or a computer in the network. You can restart the service using the Run program action.
· Checks an ODBC data source for availability with optional authentication and SQL expression execution. You can use it to monitor Oracle, MS SQL server and other databases.
· Makes it easy to create your own custom monitors

Requirements:

· CPU: 800 mHz Intel Pentium III (1.5 GHz recommended)
· System Memory: 256 MB (512 MB recommended for 50+ monitors)
· Disk space: 30 MB for program files and 1GB for monitoring database (sufficient for 50-100 monitors are polled every minute for a year)

· The number of monitored resources will be limited to 10
